This home is very well built, and has a great deal of natural light. It is well insulated with 6" exterior walls. The basement walls, except for the wall along the cold cellar, are also insulated. The attic has 14 inches of blown-in insulation.

The kitchen cabinets are oak and were custom made.

The basement is semi-finished, and includes a second kitchen as well as a cold cellar. There are two double doors to walk out at ground level.

There is a very nice deck accessed from the dining area and the master bedroom on the back of the home, The back of the home has a southern exposure.

The home is heated with a Heatmore stainless steel outdoor wood furnace. Coal grates are available if someone wishes to heat with coal rather than wood. The second floor of the home is gravity heat from the first floor. There are two solar panels on the roof which provide power for the circulator for the floor heating system.
